This is a basic EV charger and plugs into a standard household outlet (120V). It uses 12-16A and gives approximately 5-8 km of driving range per hour of charging. Fully charging an electric car can take anywhere from 12 to 30+ hours.

Level 2 charger installation is the most common home ev charging station, uses 240V power (similar to large appliances), and offers a much faster charging speed. It uses 30-60A, requires a dedicated circuit, and gives 30-50 km range per hour of charging.
